As the Nation prepares to celebrate our 250th year of independence this weekend, this is just a reminder that, since the holiday falls on a Saturday, Republic Services' collection schedules will NOT change. Everything will be collected as normally scheduled.
However, each year we have a handful of incidents where residents decide to use their garbage and/or recycling carts in creative ways. So, we would appreciate your help reminding residents that our carts are not suitable for fireworks or anything hot (charcoal, bonfires, etc.). Further, residents will be financially responsible for replacement carts if theirs are damaged/destroyed due to inappropriate use. Please consider using your social media channels to share these important reminders. We thank you in advance!
